Biography
Megan Schulze is a soprano based in Los Angeles. Her interests include sacred music, opera, and singing with choirs. Megan is a member of the Pasadena Chorale, Terpsichor, Resonant, and St. Andrew Catholic Church Choir. Her notable solo concert repertoire includes her upcoming performance of Orff’s Carmina Burana, Mozart’s KV 145, KV 220, KV 225, Fauré’s Requiem, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and Handel’s Messiah.
Megan graduated in 2022 with her Masters of Music in Vocal Arts and Opera at the University of Southern California where she studied with Elizabeth Hynes. In 2022, she sang in the American Premiere of the opera, All The Truths We Cannot See by Ulias Puklas. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Point Loma Nazarene University where she was president of Point Loma Opera Theatre.
Megan also has a passion for music education and outreach. She is the Youth Program Instructor and Front of House Manager for Pacific Opera Project and teaches private voice and piano to students of all ages. In addition to singing, Megan enjoys practicing yoga, refining her Jeopardy skills, and trying new restaurants with her friends and family.
